Albert Lea Home Inspection: Exterior Inspector (507) 721-0122
A certified home inspection is comprised of a number of essential pieces including the exterior areas of a structure. An exterior inspection engages a home inspector in taking inventory of the siding; decks, balconies or attached patios and terraces; the general landscape and grading that offer insight into drainage problems; and the condition of all doors and windows including the trim around each. He or she will also report on driveways, garages and any other required outdoor components.
Auxiliary items, such as pools, ponds, hot tubs and outbuildings and garages and recreational structures, are generally not part of a general home inspection, but in some instances can be added as part of a specialty home inspection.
When you buy a home that’s been lived in, you never really know what you’re signing up for. You might think that the property looks like it’s in good shape, but there could be problems lurking below the surface that are extremely costly to fix. And the last thing you want to do is buy a home only to encounter expensive repairs shortly after the fact.
The purpose of a home inspection is to uncover potential issues that could cost you money as a new homeowner. That way, you can negotiate with your seller to fix those items prior to your closing or reduce the purchase price of your home to offset the costs of addressing the issues.
All of our inspections will include a detailed report along with pictures of their findings and will be available to the customer in 24 hours of the inspection.
